About the book

--- INTRODUCTION ---

Thunderwolf Reign is the first book in The War for Wraethias Saga, a multi-volume series. I personally just call it "Thunderwolf" for short.

The story is a hybrid between fantasy and action/adventure with an overarching Coming-Of-Age theme.

From the prologue to the last chapter, this first book introduces essential characters, locations, and concepts.

--- SYNOPSIS ---

This book started with a single question: "What would happen if a teenage girl became omnipotent?"

The answer is, unsurprisingly, chaos.

My question, however, was born of necessity; I was powerless and depressed, and I wanted to write about a girl who wasn't.

Four years later, I asked myself a different question.

"What would happen if a teenage girl became omnipotent?

But what if she were a young woman whose family had been taken from her, and the omnipotence she rejected was what she needed to reunite them?"

That was a far more interesting question.

She had transformed from a happy-go-lucky teenager into a young woman burdened with an unknown family legacy.

She finds herself thrust into a world pulled straight from her favorite video game, where the threat of death is a sobering thought, and her actions have real-world consequences for this new world, as well as Earth.

This book is categorized under

"New Adult Fiction," meaning the characters are 18+ or older, and because of the presence of intense and dark themes, I recommend a minimum reading age of 16.

Sexual content:

Erotic content will never be present. However, there will be flirtatious banter and mild innuendos between characters 18 or older.

Violence:

Graphic violence is present and occurs frequently. There will be mild descriptions of blood, injury, and blacking out; however, I do not describe things such as limb loss or disembowelment in detail. You might be startled, but you won't lose your lunch.

Controlled Substances/Language:

Tobacco use, alcohol use, and mild language are present.
